Your Role

As a tool designer with us, you will be involved in our exciting projects within detail manufacturing. You will work on creating tool documentation in the form of drawings and CAD models. We design various types of tools for several areas and work within Saab Aeronautics on a range of different projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop through close collaboration with both development and production teams.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop design solutions for tools and workshop equipment within ongoing projects. You are a meticulous and structured person with a strong technical interest and a curiosity for finding innovative solutions.

You thrive both in working independently and collaborating with others. You take initiative, seek the information needed, and actively contribute to the group's results and development. Additionally, you have a desire to grow and broaden your expertise in the field.

Other Requirements for the Position:

• Several years of work experience in tool design or mechanical design
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience with 3D CAD programs, preferably CatiaV5 or similar
• Experience in tool development
